Commemoration of the Navigator and Tribute to the Monument of Giovanni da Verrazzano in Piazza Matteotti in Greve in Chianti.

This was followed by a visit to the sites linked to Giovanni at the Castello di Verrazzano.

For the occasion, the exhibition “Cacao” was set up, curated by the Accademia dei Georgofili in collaboration with the Giovanni da Verrazzano Foundation.
