At the CASTELLO DI VERRAZZANO, the traditional afternoon visit to the Navigator’s places of origin was held with a special program titled “Giovanni da Verrazzano – Who Was He?”

The visit was personally conducted by the President of the Foundation,
Luigi Giovanni Cappellini. This was followed by a celebratory toast offered by the Foundation to all participants, including moments of in-depth discussion with President Cappellini.

At 4:00 PM in Piazza Matteotti in Greve, a COMMEMORATION and the laying of a wreath at the Verrazzano Monument took place, in the presence of a delegation from the Twin City of REHOBOTH BEACH.
