The Book

On Tuesday, 12 December 2023, at the Teatro Niccolini, the presentation of the book “Giovanni da Verrazzano – Navigatore e gentiluomo” written by Marco Hagge was held.
The book, featuring a brilliant and heartfelt preface by Eugenio Giani and illustrations by Bruno Solis (Edizioni Mauro Pagliai), is the first biography of Giovanni da Verrazzano.
The event, which saw a large attendance, opened with an introduction by the publisher Antonio Pagliai and the president of the Fondazione Giovanni da Verrazzano, Luigi Giovanni Cappellini, and continued with a dialogue between the author, Marco Hagge, and the Head of International Relations and Projects at the Teatro della Toscana, Riccardo Ventrella.
