THE SENATE CELEBRATES GIOVANNI DA VERRAZZANO

On March 14, 2024, the biography “Giovanni da Verrazzano, Navigator and Gentleman” was presented before the Culture Committee of the Senate of the Italian Republic. In attendance, together with Luigi Giovanni Cappellini, President of the Giovanni da Verrazzano Foundation, were Senator Paolo Marcheschi, the Mayor of Greve in Chianti Paolo Sottani, and journalist and writer Marco Hagge, author of the volume.
